I was able to book in at short notice for a one night stay after my other travel arrangements had changed. Room was decent, bed was comfortable and the service was good.
Breakfast wasn't quite what I expected - although I suspect that's down to me booking at short notice and not reading the info' properly, so that is certainly not a complaint.
Breakfast was a couple of pre-packed croissants with jam etc as well as a a couple of pots of porridge (add water) and some flap jack biscuits - these were in a box in the bedroom. on the dressing table. I ate an evening meal in the bar and it was good along with good service. Plenty of on-site parking as well
It was a decent stopover the only thing that would put me off stopping there again was the breakfast option,
