A friendly host.
Easy to enter on arrival, without having to disturb anyone.
Thoughtful extras included, like bread, marmalade etc as well as hot drinks and milk.
There is a toaster, microwave and kettle available, it doesn't need more.
Toiletries provided too.
Firm but comfortable bed.
The location is on a busy A road, which made it a little tricky to leave at busy times, but plenty of onsite parking, and can turn the car round, so don't reverse into road.
There is heating, but it wasn't on, so the property was initially cold.
There is no information, like where to find the heating thermostat, which I would have found helpful.
Whilst it has everything you need, it means there is not a lot of spare floor space. I'm glad I was a solo traveller, so I didn't need to navigate round another person.
Whilst the bedding was clean abd smelled fresh, the pillows could do with a wash.
Tip: the light switch is to the right of the kitchen door, not by the front door, so not easy to find in the dark.

Very clean, comfortable, small space. Nice kitchenette and bathroom, with some nice touches like toiletries and breakfast goodies. Close to Aldermaston Wharf for boat trips. Very helpful host.
The A4 is very busy so take earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

Lovely little apartment. Really clean and the hosts couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. 10/10
