We enjoyed our weekend stay at this property. It is small but ideal for a short stay in this lovely village. We found a few things odd which, for us, took the edge off the visit. There is a grill but no grill pan. There is an oven but no oven gloves. When we arrived both the hot water and the heating were off. We had to spend time setting both (once we'd worked out how to operate the timer!). In general the cottage is well-appointed but we felt a few little issues took the shine off it for us.
We felt a few things were missing (like a grill pan, over gloves, etc) which would have made our stay more comfortable.

Lots of hot water, tucked away so quiet. Well stocked
Only thing would be if you can’t sleep with no curtains. However if that bothers you , you probably travel with a mask or cover your eyes with a t shirt like my husband.

It felt nestled into a lovely village and surrounded by beautiful mature trees. The little courtyard garden looked also very pretty. The cottage is comfy with a sizeable kitchen, cosy living dining area and and a luxoriusly sized bedroom under the roof.
In addition to all that, being dog friendly was a big selling point as well.
My time passed too quickly.

Lovely cottage. Spotless and well equipped. Lovely location and bus services are excellent. Susan and Allan are friendly and helpful. Would recommend if you are looking for somewhere to chill.
