We booked a 4 night stay with our bicycles to run Nobles Park parkrun on the Saturday and 3 days cycling. Although on ground floor of the building, access was up some steep steps off the main road (a little traffic noise at front of property). Excellent laundry facilities between bathroom (plenty hot water for showers) and bedroom. Liked the dining room table in bay window at front for our self catered meals. Cycled the Heritage Cycle Trail to Peel for our picnic on the promenade & hill climbs of Injebreck Plantation and Sulby Glen- a must for any visiting cyclist; likewise the Cavendish Raceway at the National Sport Centre in Douglas. Everyone we met were very friendly.
Kitchen utensils inadequate for simple cooking (no casserole dish for oven, one saucepan no handle on lid and another saucepan incompatible with the induction hob), only a desertspoon of washing up liquid in container, and no clothes airer & no laundry powder. Information on electrical items, public transport, tourist leaflets and recycling facilities would be useful.

Lovely, comfortable, self-contained flat, perfect for 2 people, with all mod cons. Just 10 mins walk from central Douglas. Despite being on one of the main roads out of the city, you could barely hear the traffic. Would definitely stay again

It’s bright and well laid out.
There was only one tiny pan and a frying pan that wasn’t compatible with the induction hob. Nothing to make coffee - no cafetiere, stove top coffee maker or pod system. There were next to no utensils. I don’t know how guests are expected to cook. Really odd as elsewhere it looked like there was effort - a massive TV, washer and dryer yet the simple stuff was completely overlooked. I’d bought ingredients to cook so was pretty fed up. I messaged the host and they didn’t respond until over 24hrs later. They then brought a few of the things I’d mentioned were missing - still nothing to make coffee. Two nights of three night stay unable to cook even the simplest meal. Really disappointing.
