Amazing location. The house is the rustic vibe we wanted and we did not want to leave. The fact that the house is right on the river is amazing. Without fail, each morning and evening, over a dozen Deer just appear at the property to graze. Also, since the house is well out of the population areas, there is virtually no traffic unless it is one of the neighbors. It is very obvious that the owner loves their property and we appreciated all the amenities.
We wanted to sleep upstairs since the bathroom up there was bigger, but after one night, it was too hot so we moved down stairs. The A/C did not reach up there and the fans could not keep us cool so we moved downstairs because the air was cooler down there. Despite this, each time I adjusted the thermostat, it would eventually adjust itself back to 75 degrees and I would wake up hot and have to adjust it again. Our son and his wife were going to join us and they decided to not come because they would need to sleep in the hot upstairs.
