About this house rental
Harbor House is a vacation rental located on one of the most desirable streets in Camden (corner of Cedar and Bay View Streets). It's across from Laite Beach, a town park right on the harbor, and walking distance to shops and restaurants, with a view of the harbor through trees across the street. You're also a 10-minute drive to Megunticook Lake and a two-hour drive to Acadia National Park.
Harbor House is a completely renovated, classic Maine village colonial with a two-bedroom apartment attached at the back left corner (only one wall in common). Inside the main house, you'll find comfortable, casual decor in a relaxed setting with natural, hardwood floors throughout the downstairs and Berber carpeting upstairs. There is a small shared yard, a private driveway, and a side deck. The attached two-bedroom apartment features Berber carpet throughout, with new furnishings and appliances and vaulted ceilings, this has a separate entrance from the main house and is not joined. There are 2 separate entrances.

The house itself was ideal for our group. Great neighborhood, perfect location. extremely well stocked kitchen, very nice of the property manager to provide TP/paper towels/spices. For a historic home, the bathrooms were nicely sized. The listing doesn't thoroughly explain it, but the rental is a duplex. If you had small children, you might not be happy with them having to go outside to get to their bedrooms. It is essentially two 2 BR homes, one obviously newer than the other. The primary home has not had a deep clean in some time. Cobwebs, mold in a shower, very dusty bookshelves. I spent 2 to 3 hours cleaning one afternoon in preparation for our guests. I would urge the homeowners to upgrade all of the bedding. I am fairly certain that there was not a comfortable bed on the property, all were old and very hard. The pillows were hard and the bedspreads a little tired looking. I must admit that given the obvious lack of deep cleaning, I questioned how frequently the bedding was washed.That said, this is a really great house with so much potential, and we thoroughly enjoyed its prime location and amenities. With just a little more effort, it would be perfect.

The Condo was very nice , gor privacy there was none , You could hear ever conversation , tv , noise from the other units on both side ,this unit is in the middle i think there were units underneath too, NO DISHWASHER , AGE OF COVID , not being able to sanatize dishes utensils was a no go , sink is 20 " x 8 " couldnt even put a pot in to clean if had too , Shower drain moldy , Checking out says put cloths sheets in washer no laundry units in the condo , :(
Also if you wish to relax with TV time tvs are 32 " , Area great , location great , amenities poor
