Upstairs are three delightful bedrooms: a king-size on the first floor, along with a family bathroom, and a twin on the top floor. Outside, the pretty, enclosed garden has seating and a BBQ. The cottage has a shared laundry room and can be booked alongside two neighbouring properties to sleep a total of 13 guests.

The family-friendly beach at sheltered Crackington Haven is a popular choice for surfing and swimming, with rock pools to explore at low tide. Fuel up at the bistro cafe before an exhilarating hike along the cliffs. Bude (10 miles) is famed for its golden beaches and Atlantic rollers, with calmer waters in the part-natural sea pool. Historic Bude Canal is a great place to practice your paddling skills in a canoe or kayak. Explore legendary Tintagel Castle, set on a rugged headland and visit unspoiled Boscastle (7 miles) to see the harbour and beautiful Valency Valley.
