We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful, old, and clean house. It was close to the university and downtown and very conveniently located. It did not have a hair dryer and there was no usable cooking oil but otherwise great stay,

The property is in a lovely part of town (the south end). It is a typical and beautiful Halifax home that I remember renting as a student at Dalhousie, 30 years ago. The house is bright with amazing windows that let in great breezes. The hardwood flooring throughout is warm and comforting.There are ample bedrooms for sleeping on main floor and 2nd storey. Two full washrooms were a good size, one with a bathtub and shower and the other with a shower. The water pressure was therapeutic.We had enough plates, dishes and cutlery and the pots and pans were new. We had to purchase spices and condiments but there was a boatload of tea and coffee from previous guests. I guess good or bad it's about the next guests comfort level.Communication with the host was timely and friendly. The code access helped everyone as we didn't have to manage keys.I really loved the place. It had good Haligonian vibes!
