Initial communication was good and somewhat helpful but changed on arrival. Location was good and in close proximity to a very nice beach. The room was clean and the cleaning staff very friendly and helpful.
On arrival the reception staff, were not friendly, polite or helpful.
A one million Vietnamese dong was required as a security bond for the room. I’ve travelled extensively and never asked for a monetary deposit after the room was paid for. There seemed to be little or no security with a number of doors leading into the hotel away from the reception area.
There were fire doors, which should have been shut, but were secured in the open position………dangerous!!
The rooms though very clean was very small and had very little space to store and access luggage.
There was a kettle in the room but no tea or coffee provided.
On departure we asked for a 6am booking out. They said staff to examine the room were not available until 8am and my security deposit would be sent to me by account. Oh no and I insisted on a 6am inspection and the return of my cash deposit. This they eventually agreed to.
