The reception room its tastefully furnished.
Dinners served at the hotel were nutritious and delicious, breakfast was also good, not a huge amount of options, but freshly prepared.
The property itself has great potential as a retreat destination.
The staff seems genuinely nice.
There is no options for lunch, so one must drive to town.
The facilities with the exception of the swimming pool were poorly maintained, the gym equipment it’s very old for being a new hotel.
We had to change rooms due to a little issue, we were given a large apartment that was unfortunately full of cobwebs and the bathroom smelled bad.
The manager said that she calls the place the factory of cobwebs…because they appear constantly, even if they clean…I found the comment rather bizarre, country side properties need to be cleaned more often, simple as that and perhaps sealing beneath the doors will help keeping bugs out.
Also, the dining room had a lot of dust and the walls had construction debris still, plus it was cold.
The staff was generally nice, however the policy of “we let our guests be” also means that one has to be looking for them.
This place has the potential of being very good, but it falls short.
