An amazing location very near the centre of town. A two minute walk to the top of the Rambla Principal. It was easy to walk to restaurants or sit outside bars. The railway station is a fifteen minute walk and journey into Barcelona is around 50 minutes.The house and garden is fantastic. We had a couple of days happily by the pool. Their is a parking garage in the front of the property, but the car hire company gave us a 9 seater instead of a 7 seater which we could not get in because the street outside is quite narrow. If you’re driving bare this in mind. There is a public car park 7 minutes walk away which I used at €2.30 a day. Loved this property and the town.
Having said all that, when we arrived there was no one to let us in. We did book only two weeks before but I still expected to be able to get into the property when I arrived. We had two very elderly people in our group and a disabled teenager who we had to leave at a nearby cafe while we tried to sort out this situation. We didn’t initially get a response from the contact agent so we messaged booking.com which set of a chain of unfortunate events. We were eventually let in after about 90 minutes after WhatsApp messaging which was fine. We were grateful to get in. However, because the agent hadn’t responded within the 30 minute window booking.com cancelled our reservation and refunding our money without letting us know until two days later. A customer service agent called me while we were visiting Barcelona to inform me I had to pay the host over €4k directly. Quite frankly I wasn’t sure if I was being scammed so I wanted to wait until I could check with my bank. In the meantime the property agent started messaging me demanding I pay him immediately. We decided to wait until the following morning until we could confirm a refund was indeed on its way to our bank account, only to then receive a message from the agent at 1am demanding we vacate the property by 11am. By the morning we discovered the money was on its way to my account so we payed the owner and all was well. This is an amazing property to stay in but clearly there is a problem with communication. Possibly things were lost in translation. While I’m a bit annoyed about the aggressive messaging it ultimately didn’t spoil the vacation .

La piscina , el jardín grande y las habitaciones muy amplias y confortables . La casa está a un minuto andando del centro . Éramos un grupo de amigos y no nos ha faltado nada . Ideal, repetiremos!!
