I cant think of a better place to spend our time in Tokyo(koto). Quiet and calm neighborhood. Small supermarket around the corner. But within 10min walk you got seiyu and ikiki and 2 big pharmacy stores att the same spot, which marks the halfway spot to the metro. So you go by there often.
10-15 min walk to the subway, which is a perfect morning walk before you start the day. And the subway can take you all the way to nakano or takadababa or chiba if you want to go there. There where also close to local buses for all the destinations nearby. A lot of resturants at the metro station area as well.
The house it self feels huge. With great owen and micro(belmuda). Plenty of space at the dining area and tv area. Also the bathroom was one of the best we have had in japan. Top modern bath with jet streams and autofill function.
For our kid, the climbing wall, cozy big sacks and the child room upstairs with costumes made this stay so good and he was never bored indoors. And the bed where huge!
The host was also super kind and quick in replying. Even checked that we where ok after an earthquake. After 20 years years back and fourth to tokyo, this is the best place we had.
