I would strongly advise anyone considering staying at this property to think twice.
The accommodation was in an unacceptable condition, with a strong smell of damp throughout the property and clear signs of significant moisture damage. The most concerning issue was that a floor mat in the living room was completely saturated when stepped on while walking to the shower, while sections of the flooring appeared swollen and damaged from ongoing dampness. The property was simply not fit for occupancy.
As a result, our stay had to be cut short and we checked out immediately.
What has made the experience even worse is what followed. The issues were reported to Booking.com, photographic evidence was provided, and a refund for the unused nights was requested. Since then, I have received multiple assurances that the matter was being reviewed and that someone would contact me with an update. Despite repeated follow-ups, weeks have passed without any resolution, refund, or meaningful response.
The condition of the property was disappointing enough, but the lack of action afterwards has turned this into an extremely frustrating and time-consuming experience.
Based on both the condition of the accommodation and the handling of the complaint, I would not recommend staying here.
