Great location. Was skeptical about booking based on the negative reviews but it was a great stay and hassle free.
Would have loved a kettle and some mugs for a cup of tea and some Wi-fi

Had a really lovely stay at this private apartment in Hackney. The location was fantastic – right in the heart of East London with plenty of cafés, restaurants, and transport links nearby, making it easy to explore the city.
The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything needed for a relaxing stay. It felt private and homely, with a nice atmosphere that made it easy to settle in straight away.

We had a wonderful stay. The highlight was definitely the host’s attention to detail — everything was thoughtfully prepared, from the spotless rooms to the helpful local recommendations. The check-in process was smooth, and the apartment was exactly as described. We especially appreciated how comfortable the bed was and how quiet the area remained at night, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. Highly recommended, and we would gladly stay here again.

The location was great, easily the cheapest stay you will find in North London, really close to the tube & cute cafes/shops. I liked the space of the kitchen and being able to sit at the table.
It was quite run down, definitely needs some TLC - the wallpaper was flaking massively off the ceiling and everything felt a bit grimy. Also really low hanging lamps practically sitting on the bed ?? Nearly got a concussion sitting up lol. I’d emailed ahead of time to check if they provided towels and got told they did - but they only had hand towels, so showering was difficult. There was also no bin ?? Bedroom was also not as pictured, it was just a bed with a duvet. There was also lots of stuff left behind from presumably the last visitors, so makes me concerned for how thoroughly they cleaned / checked inbetween bookings….
I appreciate it was very low cost so can look past a lot of this, but the place definitely needs a good scrubbing and you need to be willing to turn a blind eye to a lot of it to enjoy it lol
