A wonderful team running the pub and wish the new owners the best of luck with the new venture. Service in the restaurant was quick and friendly, the place just needs a bit of updating but very comfortable and recommend staying if you are in the area.

Cheap and cheery. Great meals in the pub and everything needed for a quick overnight stay whilst up at Hotham

I’ve always wanted to stay here given I have ridden past on a motorcycle so many times. This time with the car, worthy of the stay.
A great deal, view of town and the iconic building is amazing at sunset and sunrise.
The restaurant was great, the girls behind the bar awesome too as were the young lads helping mum in the kitchen.
It seems and feels like a family business and mate, the gnocchi was just WOW and the BEST gnocchi I have EVER HAD!!! The flavours were simply sensational!
The only downer; in winter in a country pub for dinner, you look forward to a roaring wood fire to sit next to and listen to the pops of the timber burning as you eat your meal. No fire unfortunately but warm AC. It kinda stripped away this being a ‘perfect’ experience.

perfect location to go skiing at Hotham. 45min easy drive up the mountain. We had the shared bathroom option and that was fine. Everything was very clean. There was also a fridge and kettle in the corridor for the people in the cheapest rooms without ensuite.
