We are absolutely impressed by this villa. Without a doubt, it is the best place we have stayed during our entire trip. A brand-new jewel of exceptional quality, nestled among the rice fields, where the only sounds are those of nature. The hypnotic flow of the river creates an atmosphere of deep relaxation and pure joy.
In the morning, birds come to drink from the stunning swimming pool, waking you with their songs. The surroundings are so peaceful and enchanting that it is hard to tear yourself away to go sightseeing.
Every detail makes you feel in paradise. I particularly loved the villa’s signature fragrance, specially curated by the owner and present throughout the property, even in the bathroom amenities. We enjoyed an incredible rooftop massage at sunset, listening to the river, and even the massage oil had that same exquisite scent. I had never experienced such a wonderful olfactory pleasure.
My husband was particularly impressed by the quality of the beds and bedding, all made from natural materials. Everything felt as though it was designed to embrace you delicately. The mattress and sheets were so wonderfully soft that sleeping felt almost like floating.
The quality of everything, from the towels, plates and cutlery to the sun loungers and furniture, is beyond what you would expect even from a five-star hotel. The decoration is elegant, refined and beautifully executed. I especially loved the pool umbrellas, with their joyful Balinese style, adding a lovely touch of local character.
The location is perfect for exploring Ubud and its many nearby attractions, with plenty of restaurants and cafés just a short distance away. We also enjoyed having delicious food delivered to the villa in no time. And I must mention the breakfast jams, specially made for the villa. The mango jam is simply addictive!
Last but certainly not least, the staff are exceptional.
