- Location is wonderful. It is only a walking distance from Gateshead Stadium metro station that connects you to Gateshead and Newcastle city centres and all other stations. It is also a walking distance from Aldi and a great supermarket that sells a very large variety of eastern/ oriental and Halal foods.
- Size of the apartment is perfect for us as a couple with 2 children.
- The host is very friendly and nice with prompt responses to our queries.
- Thanks to the host for providing us a complimentary late check-out till 1 pm as we were having our flight from the airport at 5 pm. Thanks also for providing us with ironing board when requested although it was not listed among the apartment amenities.
I stayed at this apartment in August 2022, so I’m able to recognize the very noticeable difference between my two stays.
The apartment currently needs some maintenance works. It now looks a bit old, with a need for new paint, in addition to kitchen and toilet refurbishment.
Cleanliness of kitchen (particularly oven) and toilet needs to be improved. Backyard is too messy and needs extensive maintenance and cleaning.
