Spent most afternoons by the pool and honestly that alone made the trip. Stepped right outside, no fuss, and just had the whole space to ourselves most of the time.
Getting in was simple, entrance was straightforward and check-in was smooth from the start, no waiting around after a long flight. The housekeeper actually came to welcome us personally, walked us through the house and pointed out all the little details we would have otherwise missed, that kind of touch made the whole place feel looked after rather than just rented out.
Then there is the garden. Part of it opens right onto the river and it was honestly fantastic, sitting out there in the evening with the water so close felt like something out of a completely different trip. Did not expect that and it ended up being one of our favorite parts of the stay.
Quiet, relaxed, and easy in every sense. The kind of place where the days just slow down on their own.
