The location is Trastevere couldn’t have been more perfect- right outside your door was access to everything you could want from a night out, stroll among the city, and great food. Despite being right in the centre of very lively restaurants once the doors and windows were shut the noise was blocked out.The apartment was on ground level which was a nice surprise compared to other Italian accommodation. It had everything you need with the kitchen, table, couch, bathroom & was very clean. The staff were very accomodating with our check-in despite train delays.
Overall this is a great apartment however If you’re over 6ft/ 6’2 you’ll struggle in this apartment. The kitchen, bathroom and upstairs loft are all low ceilings- my partner only just fit in the kitchen, could just fit in the bathroom but not under the shower head, and neither of us could stand up in the loft bedroom. The shower temperature also did not get very hot if you’re someone who likes a hot shower but it was manageable.
