This flat is "industrial" style in architecture and furnishing, so extemely spacious, comfortable, and extremely convenient for Waterloo station. Except for 7 am trains at Waterlloo, (weekdays only? Don't know as we were there mid-week) it is very quiet and despite the gloomy underside of rail tracks nearby (well, this is central London), feels very safe. It is right across the road from a large chain hotel (Park Plaza), and a few steps further on there is a charming café (Beeyond Café) serving excellent breakfasts, as well as teas, coffees and cake later in the day.
Waterloo station nearby has food shops (Sainsburys).
Would have liked a Nespresso or other capsule coffee machine instead of a coffee pot requiring grinds
Hoping the owner will add one! Never mind, there was a coffee shop (although that involves a walk on a rainy day).
