We had an amazing stay at Rockhurst Farm in Matlock. The property was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and truly felt like a home away from home.
The host had thought of every little detail and provided everything we could possibly need during our stay. The property was extremely well equipped, with all the necessary kitchen equipment, utensils, bathroom essentials, and comfortable, clean beds. Everything was spotless and well maintained.
We were also welcomed with apple and pear juice in the fridge, along with plenty of eggs and milk for all six of us, which was such a thoughtful touch. It really showed how much care the host had put into making guests feel comfortable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt completely at home throughout. We would definitely recommend Rockhurst Farm to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and well-equipped place to stay in Matlock. We would happily stay here again!
The only minor issue was that when the bathroom window was opened, a few small flies and tiny insects could come in. They were harmless and understandable given that the property is in the countryside and surrounded by nature. However, if travelling with young children, I would suggest keeping the bathroom windows closed to avoid insects coming inside. Other than this, everything was great.
