Just 5 minutes from Porta Susa station this was a brilliant location for those that travel by train. It's not much further from the end of Via Garibaldi at one end of the historic centre of Torino. Our host was helpful and sympathetic when our arrival was delayed by Italian Railways screw ups. He also quickly provided some more mugs when we found they were in short supply and passed on some great restaurant recommendations - the creperie just around the corner is particularly recommended.
The "upside down" nature of the property with two of the three bedrooms in the basement took some getting used to. The location and operation of the switches for the lighting is most odd.
