Nid d Aigl is accurately described but the pictures dont do it justice. An immaculate property located less than 5mins from Bpis de Colombe station (beware, NOT Colombe station) with simple, elegant furnishings and everything required for a comfortable stay. The apartment waa spotless and generously proportioned for two people. Being a top floor apartment, light floods in and gives a sense of floating, offering excellent cross ventilation in the summer heat. There is an organic grocery store directly opposite and Carrefour for late night shopping. Perfectly located near the commercial streets offering good selection of restaurants, bars and shopping while retaining a village feel. Central Paris is under 15mins away.
What sets this rental apart is the EXCEPTIONAL service and assistance provided by the very charming and helpful Amber. Fluent in English and possibly many other languages, she met me.at the station and went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome and safe. Thank you Amber, tou are a gem!
A 5th floor apartment with no lift may leave you breathless the first few climbs (not suitable for large, heavy suitcases) but you get used to it.
The sofa was very uncomfortable but that can be easily fixed.

Location, kitchen, hot water, washing machine, internet, environment, quietness.
The host was very responsive and warm-hearted, who kindly guided us how to reach the place in the most efficient way and provided us tips of local stores and facilities. The apartment is close to the train station and the bus stop, making the commuting to small Paris much easier. The apartment was also well equipped. Guests may find almost all needed kitchenware if they want to cook occasionally. The washing machine is also nice for a longer stay. The room was quiet with windows closed during the night. The temperature and ventilation were both good in mid September.
The building has no lift. It will be challenging if the guests have a heavy luggage. But it is also a common challenge for apartments in old buildings in Paris.
