Location is great, an easy walk into town.
Designated parking spot proved really useful, along with what3words location info as it is tucked away behind the first more obvious property parking areas.
Kitchen & dining area had everything needed for a visit and is well-laid out.
Sitting room is comfortable with plenty of seating and a thoughtful throw provided.
Wall art throughout was so lovely, ditto colour schemes - felt like a home as opposed to a business.
The high ceilings and multiple windows make it really light and spacious.
Shower is easy to use, water pressure fine.
Large, soft & comfortable towels.
A robust full-size hairdryer is provided.
Fans were provided in each bedroom.
The garden (along with outdoor seating, mature willows etc) has bins on-site so visitors don’t need to return to the carpark with refuse bags.
Exceptional communication and responsiveness from the initial booking through to departure, including follow-up phonecalls to check on a specific internet local issue due to a local storm earlier in the week - very much appreciated.
It was lovely, a couple of small things would have helped, as noticed as we adjusted to using the spaces:-
- Maybe include a photo/map with arrow to give a visual guide to locating the tucked away parking space
- Bedrooms : the lovely original sash windows allow quite a lot of road noise & curtain chinks let in light so maybe bear that in mind as visitors may like to bring earplugs/eye masks. We couldn’t open the windows so rooms were quite warm - a sheet under the duvet would help night temperature management. 2 bedrooms’ mattresses sloped to edges so users needed to be as central as possible to avoid rolling. A mirror in each bedroom would be really helpful to be able to get ready more easily.
Bathroom - additional hooks would be useful for hanging towels, toilet seat needs fully securing.
The above are just suggestions that might be considered - would be icing on the cake - not criticisms!

Really nice and loved the furniture, especially the beds very comfortable, loved the extra coffee pods supplied for coffee maker machine, thought of everything really plenty of tea also and a few milks in fridge, enjoyed our stay even though it was very hot, they also had a fan in living area and one in a bedroom too, which helped.
One of the double rooms was a bit cramped the bathroom window wouldn’t stay open as to let out the steam from shower.

A really lovely, comfortable, spacious house, with lovely modern facilities, very comfy furniture & beds, with everything needed for our stay, including (and was crucial in why we looked at this property) its own parking space, extremely close by. (I have an SUV-type car, which fitted okay in the space.)
The house also has its own garden area, although we did not use it.
The house is a 5-minute walk to the edge of the city centre, so was excellent for what we wanted...great access to pubs, restaurants & shops.
Although it is situated on the outskirts of the city centre in a residential area, it was surprisingly quiet from nearby traffic, and no noise from any neighbours. Certainly, no interruptions to sleeping & the overall enjoyment.
When visiting Shrewsbury again, we will definitely look first to see if this house is available.
Can't think of anything...was all positive.
