Grandpa’s House is a fantastic choice for a solo traveler or a couple. What really stood out to me was how much care the family puts into making sure guests are comfortable from the moment you book. After I made my reservation, Alto contacted me directly to make sure I knew exactly how to get to the apartment, and he personally met me when I arrived. He was also kind enough to allow me to check in early, which I really appreciated.
This is truly a family-run business, and that personal touch makes a huge difference. If you need anything during your stay, you can easily reach out to the family and they are more than happy to help, whether that means giving directions, answering questions, or recommending places to eat and visit. Some of the restaurant recommendations they gave me ended up being among the best meals I had during my entire trip through Italy and Sicily.
The apartment itself is very comfortable and spacious. It has a well-equipped kitchen, a large bathroom, and a roomy bedroom. It also has air conditioning, which was especially appreciated during the warmer weather.
The location is excellent. You are within easy walking distance of the main area with restaurants, cafés, and shops, while also being very close to the beach. It gives you the convenience of being near everything without feeling like you are sacrificing comfort or value.
For the price, I honestly don’t think you could ask for a better location or a more welcoming experience in Sorrento. The combination of hospitality, comfort, location, and personalized care made my stay very memorable. I would absolutely recommend Grandpa’s House to anyone visiting Sorrento.
