Really cosy and lovely bed. The hosts met us on arrival and showed us where everything was. They gave us great advice about local restaurants and pubs, and routes. They have gone above and beyond supplying toiletries and kitchen essentials for cleaning and milk in fridge. Very comfortable throughout, and excellent location for access to Monsal Trail, Tideswell, Litton and Bakewell. Lovely decorated rooms with occasional tables and blankets, for when weather cools. Would definitely choose again. Plenty of hooks for coats etc
The picture on Booking.com relates to another property identified as Dale Cottage, a little further down the road. The correct property with this name is closest to the junction of the B6409 and the road that gives access to the Monsal Trail at Miller's Dale, the old station and car park. This is the road to Wormhill. The correct property looks a lot nicer, than the one in the photo. Glad we found it.

Breakfast was not included. The location was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. A complete "get away from it all" as we are dealing with terminally ill relatives and just needed a quick reset.
It was a little bit cold. But you wouldn't expect that really in August would you. British weather.

Lovely cottage lots of room very clean and tidy.well equipped and good location.Walks availible straight from the doorstep.Host knowlegeable about the area and provided useful information.Great pub close by seving good food and selection of beersGreat value accomodation.
