Cleanliness. It is impressive! It is easy to get to by public transport. Both husband and wife were welcoming and easy to talk to. Really, many things were great. I like that they trust people and don't charge a deposit. They are a foreign couple, so their manners are not like Americans. Being rude in the U.S. is almost a point of pride. The house is interesting. I think it must be bigger on the inside than on the outside, because it might have an upstairs and a basement. So, it looks like a large shack.

They have a huge TV in the living room. Then, they have TVs in each guest bedroom. I think it might be overkill. I would rather them not offer a TV at all. I brought my laptop and two smartphones. Most people these days have some sort of screen. Maybe, 5% of travelers will miss it or imagine they are anti-TV or trying to tell them not to watch TV, but if they can lower the price of the room by a few dollars or use the money for more body wash selections, for both men and women, that would be preferable. Actually, the space would be nice to set my luggage down or put my stuff somewhere, on top of what they are using as a TV stand. The TV also can be damaged or vandalized. The living room TV must be 70". Do they want to make a movie room with a soundbar? It isn't bolted to the wall. It's an accident waiting to happen. Another option would be to just offer a small TV, in the living room, for the rare traveler who didn't bring their own devices. But, most people are going to register for the property with a portable device. Or maybe a used bookshelf, in case a traveler gets bored. Books are classy. Even if the books aren't well curated, it tends to give off a nice vibe. They might be able to pull that off for $200. $100 for the books and $100 for the bookshelf. Travelers might be curious about life in the owner's country. They could add cookbooks, history books or a big picture book from it, to separate the stereotypes from reality. And books can suggest the type of conversation that is acceptable between the host and guests or between guests. So, many TVs reinforce a feeling of loneliness and isolation. How American life has become solitary. And they aren't really giving you TV service. You still need to bring your own streaming subscriptions and log them in. I guess they could change the snacks based on time of day, like morning, noon and evening snacks. Is that nitpicking?

Good location for my visit, very low price to rent

If you know this is a shared space it may be for you! I did not realize I would share the bathroom with 2 other rooms, as well as the kitchen where a very friendly lady was singing while making her dinner when I arrived. My door locked but would not close. I was nervous to let strangers know my door didn’t lock so I pushed an end table to keep it closed and set noise traps. I couldn’t find the terrace or lake they advertised and the air conditioner is in the shared living space, not in rooms. Then at 6 am I sat up to get water and half of the bed next to me collapsed. There were two twin bed frames zip tied together to hold a larger mattress on (my bed) and the foot end of the twin frame next to me just gave up.
