Perfect location near to beach and local town. Great swimming pool and not too busy and plenty of sun loungers. The apartment complex was quiet and mostly occupied by families. The apartment was clean and a good size and was well equipped and had good Wi-Fi. Great communication from the ALgest staff and they were very helpful.
Some items in the apartment weren't working or were broken such as AC in living room and some cupboard doors but these did not detract from our stay. The apartment is next to a main road which can get busy at weekends, but not a issue for us as we were out a lot. There is no reception or secure storage on site or in Alvor in general so we ended up having to spend our last day in Portimao where there is secure storage as our flight was not until the evening. Had we known this when booking we would have picked an earlier flight home.
