Das Zimmer mit separatem großen, gut ausgestattetem Bad liegt als Mini-Einliegerwohnung in einem Haus in einem sehr ruhigen, sehr schönen Wohnviertel. Geschäfte, Restaurants usw. sind in einer Entfernung von knapp 10 Minuten vorhanden. Für meine Zwecke - Golfplätze und Strand in der Nähe nutzen, Victoria besuchen, frühmorgendliche Fahrt zur Fähre nach Vancouver - genau richtig.
Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr nett, es wurde aktiv gefragt, ob ich alles hätte, was gebraucht wurde, es wurden alle Wünsche erfüllt, das Zimmer bietet im Wesentlichen auch alles, was man braucht (ich habe die Küche nicht genutzt, bis auf Gebrauch eines Bierglases ;-), deshalb kann ich diese nicht beurteilen. Ich habe mich mit dem Vermieter - vielen Dank Naji! - sehr nett unterhalten und einen sehr guten Tip für ein Restaurant zum Abendessen bekommen.
Die Matratze des Bettes war sehr bequem, das Bettzeug hätte noch etwas besser passen können. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war gut und ein Parkplatz vor dem Haus vorhanden. Es mag sein, dass man beim ersten Einparken (man muss um eine Hecke herumfahren) einmal rangieren muss, aber es ist für einen SUV absolut genügend Platz vorhanden. Wer es dennoch nicht möchte, kann auf der Straße parken, da ist alles frei.
Das Bettzeug hätte in seinen Maßen besser passen können und in der Duschtasse waren noch ein paar Haare.

Nice room with attached kitchenette with hot pad, pans, cutlery, fridge, microwave and a sink, also a hot water heater and other appliances. Bathroom just across the hall, but private. Mostly quiet neighborhood. There was a small desk in the room with a comfortable desk chair. The bathroom mirror was really nice!
Location was a bit far from Victoria - about 30 mins drive in traffic. Grocery store and restaurants were a bit far for walking, though just a short drive. It would be nice to have hooks or rails in the bathroom to hang towels and clothes. Same in the bedroom - somewhere to hang clothes would be good, even if just hooks on the back of the door. Also, a mirror in the room would be nice - prevent having to go across to the bathroom for that.

Quiet, safe neighbourhood. Secure motorcycle parking behind a fence.
Warm night with only a small window - a small fan would have been nice. No top sheet, just a large duvet which would have been luxurious for a cool night but too much for mid-summer. Bed and pillow quite firm; a choice of pillows would have been appreciated.
