Very clean new house situated next to two other houses (all rentals by same owner.) Our trip was “secluded” because the other homes were not rented. This location sits above a rather busy Route 49 and across from a large lake. The lake and scenery is beautiful. It’s a plus if you are a group or family who plan on spending time at the lake boating, kayaking, swimming or picnicking. There is a playground for kids as well. You can hear the lakes activities from the house.The house is new and is minimally equipped beyond dishes, cookware and bath towels. Bring your own supplies or buy them from Dollar General stores located around the area.Communications with the owner(s) was greatly appreciated. I would recommend this home as a getaway for friends/couples as there are two queen bedrooms and full bath downstairs along with a queen bedroom and full bath upstairs. The outside balcony was nice for nighttime drinks and watching the sunset over the lake.

The perfect place for a long weekend with my mother and sister. First, the check-in was easy and the house was just as it was described. It was very clean and comfortable. The deck provided a stunning view of the lake especially at sunset, and also a wonderful place to star gaze at night. The location is perfect with so many fun things to see and do. Wellsboro, the PA Grand Canyon and Corning are all only about 30 minutes away respectively. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare breakfast and the occasional dinner. The house provided us a place to relax, recharge and reconnect with loved ones!
