Cathedral Cabin is a designer Scandinavian A-frame on ten private acres in Fayetteville. One cabin, no shared property, no campground. Five minutes to the main entrance of New River Gorge National Park, five minutes to coffee, restaurants, and groceries in town. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the meadow where deer graze at dusk.
The space
Cathedral Cabin was designed from the ground up for guests, quiet, private, effortless. The spa bath sits at the heart: a shoulder-deep tub, high-pressure shower, and a ring-lit mirror that makes getting ready feel special.
Floor-to-ceiling glass frames Appalachian meadow views; mornings glow gold, deer graze at dusk, and clear nights reveal the Milky Way.
Inside: warm birch, brass accents, Italian leather seating, velvet chairs, and National Park art. The king bed is dressed in Egyptian cotton and down; a premium leather sofa bed sleeps two more. A minimalist kitchenette offers Nespresso Vertuo, kettle, mini-fridge, and basics. 500 Mbps Wi-Fi, smart TV, heat/AC, blackout shades, and dimmable lighting keep comfort dialed in.

Enter via Star Farm’s gated drive (code provided) and park beside the cabin.
Your stay includes the full 400-sq-ft A-frame, elevated teak-furnished deck, fire pit, and trails across 10 private acres. A separate geodesic dome is under construction elsewhere on the property. Light daytime work may occur, but there’s no heavy noise or disruption, and your privacy and tranquility remain completely intact. No shared walls or nearby neighbors, just you, the meadow, and the stars.

This was a very cozy cottage. Everything is very well laid out and very updated. There was a really nice outside sitting area with a fire pit but unfortunately for our visit it was a little too warm. It was very secluded with plenty of wildlife, there were deer and rabbits every morning and every evening. Very enjoyable to watch. You are within 10 minutes of anything you may need. All the restaurants and shops. And it was very centrally located to all the recreational activities and sites to see. Doug was very responsive during the whole process.

This new cabin was the perfect central location for our 6 nights exploring the New River Gorge National Park area and Babcock State Park. The deer every morning and evening were enjoyable to watch. Doug always responded when we had any questions. The pictures are exactly like the cabin looks in person! We would like to wish them luck with the total of 3 cabins for rent in the future! This was a perfect vacation! We would recommend this cabin and will be back again.

This little gem is just perfect for a relaxing getaway! We only got to stay one night but it was so relaxing, beautifully decorated, high end amenities and so convenient to everything! Absolutely perfect! Hopefully we will be back again soon and plan on recommending it to my friends and family! The bathtub and shower alone were worth the stay, so relaxing!
