About this house rental
Private, 5000 SF custom built home. Beautifully maintained, full of amenities for a fun and peaceful stay. Five bedrooms. Two en-suite masters with adjoining bathrooms. Four bathrooms. Large, open concept living room and kitchen perfect for gatherings and family time. Eating areas include, a bar island with stools, nook eating area, and generous family style dining table with seating for twelve or more. Kitchen has granite counter tops, pantry, loads of cabinets, dish wear, pans and small appliances, top of the line appliances. The living room has comfortable seating, game table, and floor to ceiling rock fireplace for cozy evenings with family and friends. Upstairs provides an over sized bonus room, great for kids, games, movie night, and relaxed open area for all the fun! The bonus room has an eating area, large tv, games, puzzles, and compact kitchen. Other amenities include-large laundry room and storage for golf clubs, and outdoor gear. Five bedrooms, one en suite master on the main floor with king bed, one en-suite bedroom with queen bed on second floor, two other quest rooms with queen beds and a children’s room with a crib and queen blowup (twin bunk beds will be added soon or as needed)
Outdoor covered patio with ample comfortable seating, includes a Blackstone grill and additional large open patio for time in the PNW sun and star gazing or evening gathering. There is an outdoor dining area and fire pit. Outdoor amenities include, pickleball, hot tub, access to private beach area for high tide swims and to enjoy the kayaks and paddle board. The property has a fully fenced yard with views of neighboring quiet private farm land with amazing wild life and peaceful pond to enjoy during this Gig Harbor country stay. Quaint and quiet neighborhood with small convienance store, tennis courts, kids park and ball field within walking and biking distance. Our beautiful and lovely maritime town of Gig Harbor is an eight minute drive, or nice bike ride away. Newly renovated Kopachuck State Park is a five minute drive, and a beach comers dream, incredible sea life and western exposure sunsets that are more than picture worthy!

This property is really something special. Laurie and her family were gracious enough to open up their immaculate home to virtual strangers, and I am so thankful for it! I planned a surprise 40th birthday trip for my husband and several of our friends and we couldn't have picked a better location. Gig harbor is a beautiful town with a quaint harbor area and just enough around to make it a true vacation, but without the chaos and traffic of a bigger city. The home was very easy to find, although it feels like it's in the middle of nowhere. One night I made dinner for 12 and it was very easy in their well-equipped kitchen, and all of us were able to sit in the dining area (there were plenty of plates, utensils, napkins, and even placemats). The patio has a fire pit table and white lights - a perfect spot for socializing and playing one of the many games they have available to use. The guys stayed up late to use the awesome game room which has a big screen tv, pool table and more. The mornings were enjoyed in the backyard drinking coffee, listening to the birds (there's a lot of wildlife in the area), and eating berries from the dozens of bushes. The house is immaculately clean and maintained and feels like home with comfortable beds, ample couches, and tasteful décor. We visited Kopachuck State Park a couple of times and saw huge slugs, more berries, deer, and some people clamming in the early morning. My husband and I hope to visit the area again with our kids and will look for this home first! I hope Laurie and her family continue renting their home on VRBO. Maybe then we can take advantage of the bikes and kayaks!
