The cottage was cosy and very clean on arrival. The locals were very friendly and suggested a few place to go and visit. The location of the cottage was the perfect place to explore the surrounding areas of north Cornwall. It was very peaceful, the ideal place to relax and unwind. The bed was comfy which we always seem to struggle with when we stay in properties. The owners were very helpful with any queries and their communication was second to none. We would definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet little place to use as a base, whether it be for a couple of days or a week+.
The only thing we could pick fault with was the lack of certain items in the kitchen. No chopping board, washing bowl or draining rack. Could do with some more glass tumblers to drink from. That's it! Nothing more. At the end of the day, if that's all we have to grumble about, we did well. We have stayed in some places before that have been really bad. Thankfully this was not one of them.

The cottage apartment was lovely, it had everything we needed, lynne left us a cream tea, which was very much appreciated after a 6 hours drive, we enjoyed playing the games that were at the property, the kitchen was well equipped, the outside space was very nice. The double bed was really comfy and clean. The neighbours were friendly . The surrounding countryside is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.
The ‘only’ negatives we have are the property could be a little cleaner. As when we arrived the top bulk bed hadn’t been changed, it had clearly been slept in as crumbs were remaining, but I managed to wash it as the property has a washing machine which was great. The fridge had spillages and crumbs in when we arrived.

Big living room, nice beam features and wooden floor. Cream tea and milk in the fridge was a lovely touch and appreciated. Very quiet location. Lots of towels.
The accommodation could have done with a more thorough clean. There were no tea bags to go with the cream tea but we had brought our own so that was OK.
