We loved the location of the riad, being in the centre of the medina, but some may find it noisy - if so, choose to stay outside of the medina or enjoy being in the centre of the action and bring ear-plugs as we did.
We were in room 2 which has external windows facing the pedestrian street and square below which we were glad of as we like to have natural light and air in the room, despite the noise from below. Other rooms are on the inside of the riad, less noisy but without windows.
The bed was comfy as were the pair of large armchairs. The shower was spacious and with excellent water pressure and a constant supply of hot water.
The staff were super-friendly and always happy to help and the riad cat, queen Jasmina, was a regular visitor to our room for cuddles and company which was a real bonus.
The breakfast was a little disappointing. While there was certainly plenty to eat, the lack of fruit (just a few pieces of melon to share) and fresh cheese was disappointing as was the choice of bread: there's a small local bakery right opposite the door so it would have been nice to have been given a wider range of freshly-baked local breads with our breakfast each morning.
Most of the plug sockets in our room (2) didn't work, but there were a couple that did on the far wall and a plug bank was provided so it wasn't a big issue.
