This one-bedroom, one-bathroom cabin in Cokato, Minnesota, welcomes up to two guests for a relaxing getaway surrounded by lake views and gardens. Settle in for a couples’ escape, enjoy some time to yourself, or bring your pet along for the adventure.

OUTDOOR SPACES TO MAKE YOUR OWN

Find your favorite spot on the furnished deck, balcony or patio. Enjoy a meal outdoors, spend time in the private yard and gardens, or simply settle into a chair and take in the view.

A gas grill makes dinner at home easy, while the fire pit offers a welcoming place to wind down in the evening. Walking trails are accessible directly from the property, giving you an easy way to step outside and explore.

LAKE ACCESS & BOATING

Take the approximately 900-foot walk downhill to Cokato Lake, where a small pier provides a place to sit and enjoy the water. The cabin offers lake views, but reaching the shoreline requires walking down the hill and back up.

Bringing a boat? Public boat access is approximately half a mile down the road, and boat/trailer parking is available at the cabin. There is no boat launch or boat docking at the property; the small pier is for enjoying the lakeside setting.

A COMFORTABLE RETREAT FOR TWO

The open-concept living area gives you room to relax, read a book or enjoy a movie. A piano adds a distinctive touch, and two Roku-equipped TVs—one in the living room and one in the bedroom—provide entertainment when you feel like staying in.

Upstairs, the bedroom features a queen bed, provided linens, and lake and garden views. The full bathroom is also upstairs, with towels, toiletries and a hair dryer provided.

Wi-Fi, heating and mini-split air conditioning help keep your stay comfortable and connected. A wood-burning stove adds to the cabin’s character.

COOK, DINE & ENJOY AN UNHURRIED MORNING

Prepare breakfast before heading out or enjoy dinner together at home. The fully equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave, cookware, dishes and utensils.

A Keurig coffee maker with starter coffee and a slow cooker add everyday convenience. Gather at the dining table or take your meal outside to enjoy the setting.

EXPLORE COKATO & THE SURROUNDING AREA

Spend your time enjoying Cokato Lake, browsing downtown shops or heading out for a local meal. Area outings include golf at Cokato Town & Country Club, outdoor recreation at Collinwood Regional Park, and a visit to the Cokato Museum & Gust Akerlund Studio.

ARRIVAL, PARKING & IMPORTANT DETAILS

Enjoy a private entrance and self check-in with keyless entry. Free driveway parking accommodates up to three vehicles, and boat/trailer parking is available.

The cabin is your own space during your stay. The homeowner lives next door and is available for assistance.

Pets are welcome with an applicable pet fee.

The entrance is step-free, but stairs are required to reach both the bedroom and the bathroom. Lake access involves an approximately 900-foot downhill walk.
