The owner is very pleasant nothing is to much trouble she makes us feel very welcome

Enjoyable Stay

Just back from an enjoyable stay at Antigua Seaview. A great base to enable me to explore the beautiful island. Very peaceful setting with great wifi connection and AC unit. Host also very friendly. Large supermarket a 15 minute walk away and kitchen equipment provided for self catering. My apartment was also cleaned regularly. Host also offers airport pick up/drop off option.

Minor but I would have benefitted from clearer instructions regarding check-in as there is no reception. It turned out the host lives in one of the apartments but that was not known at the time resulting in a momentary panic on arrival.

More than you could ever ask for!

The host Donna was very friendly, accessible, professional, and attentive to all our needs. She did a daily checkin to make sure we were good. The staff was always predictably there in the morning at the same time to clean the floors and refresh linens. They were always warm, friendly, and flexible to come back later. They were very generous with gifts of local fruit, which was a nice surprise! Always had hot water for showers and no shortage. I rented 3 rooms and they all had working fridge, stove, oven, toaster oven, toaster and electric kettle, lots of pots and pans with lids, dishes and cutlery. The air conditioners worked beautifully. A couch table and chairs and extra chairs outside the rooms for your guests. I felt so proud to bring family and friends to the beautiful rooms. They have a lovely garden in front and back for pictures with many beautiful plants. The building is gorgeous and so close to a very affordable supermarket with all your needs, including coolers for the beach!! ⛱️ I could not have asked for a better hotel accommodations, stay or location.

I didn't like that my vacation had to end.

Superb

The personal touch from management. It gave the feeling of being home and made us feel very comfortable. She was also always available to provide transport when we needed her. I also liked the fact that there is a supermarket just a 10min walk down the road.

Pleasant

The location was close to town and walking distance to beach-Dickenson Bay. The staff particularly Sharon.

The bathroom windows needed coverings, but rectified once it was disclosed Lack of kitchen utensils - can opener TV remote did not turn on/off the TV Trouble locking the door No safe to store items...ie passport

Recommended, good value, clean,comfortable accommodation& helpful hostess

Very comfortable , lovely white towels& sheets. Very helpful hostess, Donna. Pleasant quiet residential district. Excellent air conditioning. Donna took us to town& the airport . There’s a good supermarket within walking distance.lovely plants& trees around. All well kept.

A taxi was needed to go to town due to heat & roads. It was also too hot to walk to the beach tho it was only a couple of miles- with the salt lake in between.

Perfect for a stay in Antigua.

Perfect for a stay in Antigua. Donna and her amazing staff were very friendly and super helpful. Location is convenient for shopping as well as restaurants.

Would come back.

Simple and comfortable with enough kitchen essentials to take care of your needs. Pleasant view from the verandah with table and chairs for a lovely breakfast. Helpful owner and staff. Take-out from the nearby restaurant was good.

Could use a little more kitchen equipment. The walk to the beach wasn't far for us but some might think it a bit much.

A wonderful stay in Antigua

After a long trip from Saskatoon to Antigua, it was nice to arrive at this quiet hotel. I had a suite on the top floor with a full kitchen, a king size bed, and a jacuzzi tub. I walked to St John's to rent a mountain bike for 5 days from Bike Plus on Independence Avenue and rode 200 km all around the island. The nearest beach is a 20 min walk from the hotel. I recommend Nigel's restaurant just down the street at the Anchorage Inn. I had a wonderful time. Donna was a very nice host.

Most restaurants and shops are closed from December 25 to 27.

Superb

Nice and pleasant apartment, fully equipped. Located in a quiet area. Large supermarket nearby. Nigel's restaurant, Nomads and Chimney within walking distance. Caribbean Cinnema and El Taco are highly recommended. The rental of 2 mountain bikes at Bike Plus Limited , Independence Drive, Camacho Ave, St John's, made our holiday complete. Absolutely recommended to rent bicycles and explore the island. Excellent service.

Home in a little piece of paradise

Donna was an excellent host. The facilities are well appointed and I truly had no complaints. I was treated like family while I was there and honestly felt like I was home. There were no issues with the Wi-Fi and I would definitely stay here again!

A great place to stay, better with a car.

This is a very well equipped apartment. The appliances we used all worked well. The Bed was extremely comfortable with lovely pillows. The First Choice supermarket was within walking distance. It was about 35 mins walk to Dickinson Bay for lovely swimming. The view from our top floor at sunset was amazing. Although with clouds we never quite saw the full sun set.

When you look on Google Maps the property looks close to many things out of season this is not so easy. Although we managed without a car, it would be useful to have one as there are no restaurants nearby. At night it seems scary to be out, with the insects and noises. Also as Antigua is hot even a short walk makes you sweat.

Beautiful. We loved it. Clean, accommodating and really convenient.

Realy loved staying at Antigua Seaview. The location was brilliant. Very easy to get around the island from and there's a supermarket and food stalls/restaurants within walking distance. We didn't have a car so the nearest beach (which is about 25 mins walk) was a cheap taxi ride away, which was great to have close. Donna was so friendly and helpful, even helping me find somewhere to get my hair done! We absolutely loved staying there. The room was super-clean and comfortable.

Food wasn't available while we were there which was a shame as we were so excited for the breakfasts! But this was probably linked to the season we came in. Otherwise, we absolutely loved it

Comfortable accommodation in a quiet area

The property is in a quiet area ; I chose it for that and because it was within walking distance of a restaurant (Nomad). The room was spacious, there was aircon and decent wi-fi, I was quite satisfied.

I was on the ground floor next to the steps from the parking area, so not ideal for privacy, but I was only staying for one night. Ask for a higher room if you're staying longer. Plenty of appliances but a bit thin on basic kitchen equipment. A bit pricey for what it is.
