Very cute downstairs! The apartment is huge and amazingly located, very charming entryway!
Upstairs is much less lovely. Very confusing situation with street sensor lights right in bedrooms. There was no crib even though requested in advance. Scary stairway even for an adult - could not leave a toddler sleeping upstairs. i think the kid-friendliness of the apartment leaves much to be desired.

The location was great, and it was nice to have space for two families. Lots of cafes and a couple of small supermarkets not too far away. A playground for kids right across the street.
The beds were not sturdy, and slats were falling out of one of them, so our friends ended up sleeping on the mattress on the floor. There is hardly anything to cook with in the kitchen--no spatula to flip eggs or pancakes with. (We had planned to make pancakes for breakfast but were disappointed that there were no cooking utensils except silverware and a knife). Also, parking is a nightmare. Of course, it is Old Town Vilnius, but don't be misled by the fact that this place is advertised as having a parking place. This is only a half-truth. Guests should know that it is best to come to this apartment WITHOUT A CAR (not to mention that it's extremely hard to get around Old Town these days in a car due to construction and road closures). The courtyard is tiny, and our rental car got boxed in by other cars (and it was impossible to find their owners early in the morning), so we were unable to drive our friends to the airport as we had planned--had to pay for a Bolt ride instead! This was the most frustrating part about our stay.
