About this house rental
Rice Lake/Mississippi River property. Located in a quiet neighborhood. 2 bedrooms with a pull-out couch also. 3/4 bath (shower only). Dock access for your boat (no shore station or electric at dock). You can launch your boat in at Lum Park and head north, OR at French Rapids (closer to property, but there is no dock at the boat access). If you put in at French Rapids you will head down river a quarter mile to the owners dock.
The rental is the lower level of a duplex (Owner lives on site upstairs). It is a walkout basement with great views. Home is on a dead-end road (1 way in, 1 way out). There is a fire ring if interested, and weather is not too windy. All furniture and beds etc in the rental are new. There is private parking on a separate driveway (on the crushed concrete one).
The grounds can be used on the entire property minus the garage and sheds. There is a front yard for kids to play if needed/wanted. Lum Park has a swimming beach also and play ground. The depth of water at the end of the dock is about 6'. There is no beach on the property. The shoreline is mud. There is a lot of weekend boat traffic including water skiing, jet skiing, people fishing, and just relaxing on a pontoon. You can park your boat trailer on site also.
Great sunsets as you see in the pics and sunrises when looking up river early. Miles of peaceful quiet boating up river. Less than 5 miles to grocery store. 4 miles to nearest gas station. Two restaurants within 2.5 miles (Wings airport cafe, and Dunmire's on 210).
