This was an absolute treat for me after 8 months travelling in non-English speaking countries - Trish and Elton are wonderful hosts - we chatted for hours, and having been born in Jamaica I felt back home to my youth... the property is beautifully rustic with driftwood sculptures and detailing everywhere. The colours are rich and vivid and gorgeous bits of painting everywhere. It reminded me of holiday homes in South Africa where I grew up, but with a stunning Caribbean setting and view over the sea, the sea breeze keeping one cool, the sound of the waves to waft you to sleep. And Trish is a fabulous chef - think freshly caught lobster with lemongrass! Oh, and wonderful quality, proper cotton sheets. And it must be said - the best toilet paper in 8 months travelling!! If you love light, colour and rustic rhythm, this is for you.

There's nothing I didn't like, but just as a heads up - sand blows inside as one is right on the beach (bliss), so if you want hermetically sealed accommodations, this is not for you.. the doirs and windows are shuttered openings with no glass, so one gets the sea breeze always through the property, and the sand - this is proper, connected to the elements living...
