The caravan felt brand new super cosy, comfortable, clean and exactly what was promised. The host was so friendly and even guided us over the phone to help us find the caravan.The kitchen had everything we needed: microwave, fridge, cutlery. Kitchenware and gas stove. The location was perfect with a swimming pool, kids’ play area, and lots more to explore (reception explains everything at check‑in if you inquire). We’d definitely come back!
Finding the caravan was a nightmare. We had to go around the park several times because “The Bay” sign was hidden behind a parked caravan, and the caravan itself didn’t display the number. The resort staff tried to help, but since it’s privately owned, they weren’t familiar with it. The host has photos showing it’s literally at the entrance before reception — that’s the key hint. At check‑in, make sure you say you’re looking for “09 The Bay” or they may direct you elsewhere.
Arranging the sofa bed was tricky maybe we were tired, but watching a quick YouTube video would definitely save time.
Free WiFi was mentioned, but on the day we received a message saying it wouldn’t be available. We had unlimited data, so it wasn’t a big issue.
The live TV needed an update when we switched it on, so it didn’t work. It was too late to call the host, so we left it.
