If I had to describe this hotel in just a few words: elegant and scenic. This brand-new boutique hotel features spacious, comfortable rooms with designer interiors. The staff is incredibly attentive and always ready to help, and the cleanliness of the rooms is exceptional. The view from our balcony was so breathtaking that we actually preferred dining out there, which was incredibly convenient since the nearest restaurant is right below the hotel.

The hotel is situated on a hill, so the breathtaking view comes at the price of a 500-600 meter uphill walk from the nearest beach. We didn't like the closest beach at all—just sand, some seaweed, very shallow, and the water wasn't nearly as clear as in other places. Instead, we went to the rocky beach behind the marina. While this wasn't a problem for us, others might find these walks tiring.

The entire property is still very new, beautiful, in pristine condition and very well maintained. Our room was tastefully furnished and spacious, with plenty of storage space. There was also a drying rack outside on the balcony. The room was cleaned every day. We also had everything we needed in terms of amenities: a safe, a fridge with a small freezer compartment, a Nespresso coffee machine, a comfortable sofa and a really good hairdryer. The bed was very comfortable and we slept extremely well. The pool towels could also be used as beach towels, which was very convenient. One of the highlights is the beautiful view over Vasiliki and the bay, which you can enjoy from the room and balcony as well as from the pool. In the evenings, it was wonderful to sit outside on the spacious balcony and enjoy the view. Breakfast was very good and prepared with a lot of care every morning. There were always at least two or three freshly baked cakes, pancakes, fruit, bread, Greek yoghurt with honey, cold cuts and cheese, as well as freshly prepared fried or scrambled eggs. You could also enjoy the beautiful view over the bay in peace and quiet while having breakfast by the pool. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and took very good care of us. When we asked about watermelon, they even went out to buy one and cut it up for us. The location in Ponti is very good as a base for exploring the south and west of Lefkada, while Nydri and Nikiana are also within easy reach. Taverna Batzanakias is located directly below Zofeni, practically on the doorstep. We felt extremely comfortable at Zofeni throughout our entire week and would stay there again anytime. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Greece and a clear recommendation.
