Horrible cockroach property
Here are the very few things we liked about this property: It was nice having four separate bedrooms with four attached bedrooms. Every couple had its own space. The AC worked great in the house and kept it very cold for us. It was about a 5 minute and easy walk to the beach. The shared pool was nice and not very busy.
This list will be long: First, we found a huge live cockroach the first day we got there. We found three total the entire stay including cockroach eggs on the second floor bedroom’s bed the day we checked out. The toilet paper holder broke day 1. The knob on the first floor shower broke day 2, we had to fix our self because no maintenance was sent out. The plumbing was reverse on the first floor, hot was cold and cold was hot (minor). The washer did not spin unless you put on the whites cycle. The dryer took 4 cycles to dry a small load so we were not able to use for everyone. (We googled properly reviews after we left and the dryer had the same issues two years ago. Sounds like they never fixed) The code to the door stopped working the first day. Luckily someone was there to let them in but had to contact customer service. Their first solution was to give us the 1 set of keys from the lockbox. This was not going to work since there were 4 couples staying here for the week. They then changed the code to the door (should’ve been first solution) and worked fine the rest of the week. Bikes were mentioned in the listing but no bikes were on property. Grill utensils were provided but there was no grill. Ants were found in the living room/kitchen area. Only two trash bags were provided for a big house for a week stay. Full size beds in the 3 bedrooms, could easily be upgraded to queen especially in the master. Not a huge deal but was not comfortable. The room with the bunkbeds was very tiny. All issues were addressed to property management all week long and the only response we received was “it’s been escalated” They did nothing. After fighting with them for 4 days after we checked out, they agreed to a refund of $384.40. I finally got the refund today and it was $367. The whole experience was very frustrating. The price is great but not worth it for all the problems you will experience.
