We had a wonderful stay in Udawalawe Village. The location is beautiful, as it is right in front of a river and surrounded by a peaceful forest. The area is full of birds and other wildlife, making it a perfect place for nature lovers.
On the way to the hotel, we can enjoy the scenic views of banana plantations and green rice fields, which give us a true experience of Sri Lankan village life. The natural surroundings are calm, fresh, and very relaxing.
The hosts were kind and welcoming. They even provided free pickup from the bus stop and dropped us back at the bus stop when we left, which made our trip very convenient.
The safari was excellent and one of the highlights of our trip. We saw many wild animals, including elephants, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the national park.
Overall, Udawalawe Village is an excellent place to stay if you want to enjoy nature, peaceful surroundings, and warm hospitality. I would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
