About this cabin rental
This is our personal family cabin, not a commercial resort. It is cozy, comfortable, and lake-focused, with a newly renovated spa-like bathroom, a large deck, swimming area, multiple docks, a 6-person hot tub, kayaks, lake toys, yard games, firepit, and generous parking for vehicles and trailers who want to spend the day riding.
The cabin is located in an extremely private setting near the tip of a peninsula, with beautiful sunrise and sunset views from the property. Guests can enjoy clear water, a private beach area, a 40-foot dock reaching approximately 10–12 feet of lake depth, and space to park one guest boat at the dock, with limited room for a second small boat by prior approval.
Inside, the cabin includes a formal bedroom with a full-under-twin bunk bed, a loft with one queen and two twin beds, and a futon for additional sleeping flexibility. The setup is best for 6–7 guests, but can accommodate up to 8 depending on group makeup. The year-round cabin has propane heat, supplement fireplaces including a wood burning stove, A/C, Wi-Fi, TV, a dedicated workspace, a fully equipped kitchen, coffee bar, and a large dining table for the entire group to join up.
The outdoor spaces are the real gem! The large deck includes sofa seating, outdoor dining, patio umbrella, and a large Blackstone griddle, perfect for cooking big breakfasts or group meals. Just off the deck is a 6-person hot tub, routinely serviced and maintained. The custom firepit area has ample seating and a large fire ring under quaint solar string lights for extra ambiance, with firewood available for guest use.
The property is pet-friendly because our own dogs love it here too! The yard is large and open, but not fenced, so guests should plan to use leashes and clean up after pets. Cleanup tools are available on-site and expected to be used.
For fishing and boating, Lawrence Lake offers opportunities for panfish, bass, pike, and the infamous walleye AND musky! The lake is also connected by channel to Roosevelt Lake, giving guests even more water to explore. Guests may bring a boat, and GFCI-protected electricity is available near the dock for battery charging.
For trail riders, the cabin has ample parking for multiple vehicles and trailers, with access to miles and miles of local ATV, side-by-side, and snowmobile trails within approximately a half mile of the property.
This is a quiet lake retreat. No parties, no indoor smoking, and absolutely no glass in or near the hot tub or beach. Quiet hours are expected and enforced out of respect for neighbors and everyone across the lake. We want guests to enjoy the call of the loons, peaceful mornings, campfire nights, fishing, trails, and time together — without turning the property into a party cabin.
A pontoon may be available as a separate add-on by prior approval. It is not automatically included with the cabin rental and requires a separate agreement, fee, deposit, and operator approval.
