We had a fantastic weekend staying in the Polaris 6m Bell Tent at The Old Waterworks. It was great value for money and a really enjoyable experience for me, my girlfriend and our three kids.
The tent was comfortable and had everything we needed for a fun family weekend. We particularly enjoyed the social areas, which gave the site a really relaxed and friendly atmosphere and were great for spending time together.
The lovely weather definitely added to the experience, allowing us to make the most of the outdoor space and enjoy the whole glamping experience.
Overall, a great-value stay, a lovely setting and a really enjoyable family experience. We’d definitely consider coming back!
The only thing that took a little getting used to was having a shared toilet and bathroom facilities, but that’s more about personal preference and getting into the glamping mindset than a criticism of the site. It certainly didn’t detract from what was otherwise a fantastic weekend.

A friendly site with a unique communal kitchen with all amenities . Clare is a beautiful village. The tent was pretty but we were put off by the lack of cleanliness
We found an old baby's bottle with milk under the bed and a hen party cup under the sofa which made us think the tent hasn't been cleaned properly. We couldn't sleep very well as the site has a bar and there was noise going on until after 1am which meant my partner and I and it two children were unable to get to sleep .
