Very helpful, friendly staff and a nice quiet location within walking distance of the main attractions. Breakfast was decent and the room was comfortable and clean.

Overall, it's a good hotel for a very reasonable price. The pool was a bit small with rooms/balconies overlooking it, so there isn't a lot of privacy. But the room was large. The air conditioning was a little tricky to turn on, but once I figured it out, it was good. It came with free breakfast that was decent with hot and cold options. The location is very good, it's not far from the Morning and Night Market. It can be a little hard to find at first since the hotel is tucked away from the street, you have to look for the wooden sign. The bed was comfortable.
When I arrived, the receptionist (owner?) said that he would put me in a smaller room for 1 night and then move me to a larger room with a balcony the next night. I was very thankful because it sounded like he was being nice and upgrading my room for free. However, later I checked my reservation and I found out I had booked a room with a balcony. So in reality, the guy was giving me a worse room the first night and then moving me to the room I actually paid for. It worked out okay since the first room, although it was small, had a large bathtub.

"The staff were the highlight. My brother cut his arm and Boon ran down to chemist to get Betadine. Just really cared about all the guests."
