Our primary issues were
1) The lack of a welcome pack with information on what to do in an emergency, who to contact and where the fire muster point was, there was no fire blanket or fire extinguisher. I’m sure this will be of interest to trading standards and the councils health and safety department.
2) The lack of WiFi was not a problem if you had stated in your listing that the area had absolutely zero mobile phone service on all networks making it impossible for any person to be able to contact emergency services, this was a particular concern of ours whilst travelling with a vulnerable young person who is in the care of the local authority it was our job to keep him safe.
The television did not work as it was run through WiFi which also did not work, and at no point did any of the management come and attempt to fix this!
3) You responded to our messages and said there was a site manager onsite ready to sort our issues, there wasn’t, a cleaner visited number 2 yesterday (29/08/26) but did not visit our lodge and attempt to rectify any of our issues, despite us leaving keys with number 2.
4) The cooking equipment in the kitchen, namely the pans, we rusty and unuseable, resulting in us not being able to cook safely and having to eat out when we booked self catering accommodation.
5) The entrance sign states the resort is run by Hoseasons which we learned it is not, therefore this is false advertising both online and on resort . There are signs saying there are cameras and cctv for our safety, however they were not working, leaving all residents on resort in a vulnerable position. Along with this there was no street lighting and Paddock Cottage had no working outside light leaving us to use phone torches in a very dark area.
The outside of the lodge were wet and mossy making them very slippery and dangerous, the whole outside area was unkept and overgrown.lodge was advertised to have a hot tub but instead we got dirty, smelly, broken outside.

The cottage was full of cobwebs outside(understandable)but inside all the corners had live cobwebs, had to use a broom before getting in, the rubbish was in a big pile outside the cottage then moved in a skip that was 10 steps away from our patio and the odour was very strong.
