North Ballachulish sits just across the bridge while South Ballachulish lies 3 miles to the east on the southern side. North Ballachulish offers a hotel and petrol station/shop, whilst South Ballachulish has a supermarket, coffee shop, Post Office, pubs, hotels and a Tourist Information Centre/gift shop.
