Just a short stroll to both the beach and the community dock, you’ll have easy access to everything the island has to offer.
One of the highlights of this property is the spacious area beneath the house. Surrounded by traditional island crab trapping that creates a private outdoor retreat, this space is perfect for gathering after a day in the sun. Enjoy meals at the outdoor dining table, grill your fresh catch, rinse off in the outdoor shower, watch your favorite shows on the TV, or simply relax in the comfortable lounge area.
For those looking to explore the island from the water, two kayaks are available for guest use.
Please note that the hot tub is not available for guest use. Also, the home is located alongside the island’s main golf cart path, so you may occasionally see and hear golf carts passing by during the day.

Blue Palm Cottage is located on Little Gasparilla Island, which is a bridge-less barrier island. You will need to make an appointment with the water taxi, rent a boat, or bring your own boat. YOU CANNOT DRIVE TO THIS HOUSE. Bringing your own boat? The house has access to a community dock that is perfect for fishing or watching the beautiful sunrise over the Boca Grande Causeway. The dock has a 24ft. maximum and only allows 1 boat per household. No assigned slips, first come first serve.
For the water taxi, you’ll park your car at Eldred’s Marina and load your luggage on the water taxi there. The water taxi is $30 for up to 2 people, one way. Each additional person is $15, one way. The water taxi is by appointment only and its hours are 8:30-5:00. You can book appointments outside the normal hours of operation, but the cost is higher and varies based on the time.
The dock is about a ¼ mile walk or golf cart ride to the house.
