About this apartment rental
Start the day looking across Turtle Bay's third fairway, then choose between a pool, a tennis match, or the North Shore sand. This remodeled one-bedroom ground-floor condo sleeps four, with a queen bed plus a sofa, love seat, and two ottomans that convert to sleepers. The sleek kitchen has granite counters, a double-basin sink, dining for four, and bar seating for two, making it easy to feed the crew before heading out. Three community pools and tennis are within 500 feet, and Turtle Bay Resort is just up the road for ocean-view dining, yoga, fitness classes, and beach time. A washer and dryer, beach toys, umbrellas, and a chair make the logistics lighter. The condo is reached by descending eight steps and uses wall air conditioning rather than central air. This is a fun, flexible North Shore base for a small family or active couple.
The Space:
Ground-floor living opens to fairway and mountain views from this remodeled one-bedroom condo. The queen bedroom pairs with a sofa, love seat, and two ottomans that convert to sleepers, accommodating four. Granite counters, a double-basin sink, a four-person dining table, and bar seating shape the kitchen area. Wall air conditioning, a washer and dryer, and a 42-inch TV round out the space.
Guest Access:
Guests staying at this Turtle Bay condo enjoy access to the resort's shared outdoor pool set on golf course front grounds near the ocean. On site parking is available, and a lit path leads to the entrance for easy evening arrivals. Some resort facilities are operated independently by the resort.
The Neighborhood:
Turtle Bay sits on Oahu's rural North Shore, where the coastline opens up and the pace shifts from Waikiki's city energy to beach, golf, and country roads. The resort area adds ocean-view dining, golf, horseback riding, and calmer coves, while Sunset Beach and Waimea Bay are worthwhile drives for famous surf scenery. Kahuku's shrimp trucks are a classic casual stop nearby. Shops are spread out here, so a car helps. It is a fine choice for travelers who want open coast, outdoor activity, and a more relaxed slice of Oahu.
Getting Around:
Kahuku sits on Oahu's North Shore near Turtle Bay, about 45 minutes to an hour from Honolulu's airport (HNL). A rental car is recommended for reaching Haleiwa town, surf beaches, and North Shore dining, though the resort grounds themselves are walkable, with golf, beaches, and pools close at hand. Parking is generally available in resort lots, making it an easy, low stress base to explore from.
Other Things to Note:
Wall air conditioning units cool the living room and bedroom. Parking: assigned parking for one car. Please note: this ground floor condo is accessed via descending eight steps to the entryway.
